To tide you over until I have something deeper to post, I will take a leaf from zippy's blog and post:
Conversations in Becka's world:
Him: I've come up with what might be probably the best plan of my life.
Me: Does it involve deaf women?
Him: No.
Me: Does it involve the Catholic Church?
Him: No. Well, maybe. Possibly. Probably. I'll explain when I see you.
Unlike zippy I will add some context:
The last two greatest, bestest plans he came up with were; one - learning sign language so he could date beautiful deaf women (due to meeting one who was both tragically beautiful, and tragically attached) and getting Channel Four to sponsor him to do a documentary about getting excommunicated from the Catholic Church (problematic since first he would have to *join*.)
His current greatest plan is to offer his services to the British Government as a religious liaison between the church and aliens, should they ever land.
